Shannon and Carter always knew their wedding would reflect their roots at the Jersey Shore. “We’ve both always drawn inspiration from growing up at the shore,” Shannon shared. “I love blue and white and all things coastal, so I knew I wanted that look and feel for our wedding day.”
The couple chose Crystal Point Yacht Club in Point Pleasant, NJ for its stunning waterfront location and welcoming atmosphere. With panoramic views of the marina and just minutes from where they both grew up, it couldn’t have been more perfect. “We fell in love with the venue instantly. It felt like home.”
A Soft Blue Coastal Color Palette
The couple’s dusty blue and white palette brought a fresh, coastal feel. Petal Street Flower Company designed lush arrangements with blue hydrangeas, white roses, and eucalyptus — a subtle nod to the nautical theme.
Shannon looked radiant in her gown from Abigail Bride, with hair styled by Renarde Salon and makeup by Make Me Up Eva. Carter and his groomsmen looked timeless in navy, complementing the waterside setting and the bride’s elegant aesthetic.
An Unforgettable Celebration
From heartfelt vows to a packed dance floor, Shannon and Carter’s day was full of joy. With SCE Event Group and DJ Hi Kevin, guests danced all night under string lights and the summer sky.
As a New Jersey wedding photographer, it was an honor to capture moments from getting ready to sunset portraits. Witnessing Shannon and Carter’s full-circle love story—especially in a place so meaningful—was truly a privilege.
