Sarah and Tyler got married on August 22, 2026 at The Mill Lakeside Manor, and their wedding day was such an incredible, FUN day from start to finish!
We truly lucked out with the weather. We had some cloud coverage for most of the day, which gave us the perfect soft light for portraits. Then, just after cocktail hour, we finally got a little peek of sunshine so you already know we were sneaking outside for some sunset photos! And I’m so glad we did. Those little pockets of light at the end of the day are always worth taking a few minutes away from the reception for.
Getting Ready at The Mill Lakeside Manor
I was also SO excited to photograph getting ready in the new bridal and groom suites at The Mill. They are literally a photographer’s dream! The beautiful natural light, neutral tones, and spacious rooms made the perfect backdrop for all of those morning details and getting-ready moments. As soon as I walked in, I knew prep photos were going to be gorgeous.
This wedding was extra special for me because I had my niece assisting me for the day! Being pregnant with twins means I’m definitely moving a little slower as I get bigger (haha!), so having her there to help me throughout the day was amazing.
I feel like I say this after so many weddings, but I truly mean it when I say how lucky I am to work with such amazing couples. Sarah and Tyler were relaxed, happy, and completely down for anything, which makes photographing a wedding day so much fun. When a couple trusts me and just enjoys their day, it allows us to create beautiful photographs while still making sure they’re actually present for all of those moments happening around them.
From getting ready in the new suites, to portraits, ceremony, cocktail hour, our little sunset escape, and celebrating with all of their favorite people, Sarah and Tyler’s wedding was such a joy to photograph.
Congratulations, Sarah & Tyler! Thank you so much for trusting me to capture such an incredible chapter in your story. 🤍
