I’m so excited to finally share the magic of Andreia and Gregory’s March wedding at The Estate at Florentine Gardens in River Vale, NJ. This day was incredibly special—not only because of the stunning venue and heartfelt details, but also because it marked my final wedding before maternity leave. I truly couldn’t have asked for a sweeter couple to wrap up the season with.

From the moment I met Andreia and Gregory, I knew their wedding would be filled with meaning, intention, and timeless beauty. Their love story is deeply rooted in family, heritage, and a shared passion for travel and food—and that foundation was woven into every detail of their day.

A Proposal in Portugal

Their proposal still gives me chills! For Andreia’s 30th birthday, she wanted a tropical getaway—but Greg had something more meaningful in mind. He suggested visiting her grandparents in Portugal, whom he hadn’t met yet. Her parents were secretly in on the plan too.

Before visiting her grandparents, Greg suggested a walk to see a mural in Porto. The February weather was unusually warm—like it was meant to be. There, he proposed, with a photographer secretly capturing every moment.

Even more touching? Greg designed her engagement ring using diamonds from both of his grandmothers’ rings—a beautiful tribute to the women who came before and a symbol of the life they’re building together.

A Ceremony Rich with Family Legacy

Their ceremony was held in a historic church with deep roots in Greg’s family. Both his mother and grandmother attended it growing up. That legacy added a meaningful, emotional layer to their vows and new beginning.

European-Inspired Elegance at The Estate at Florentine Gardens

Andreia and Greg chose The Estate at Florentine Gardens for their reception. The venue’s charm, architecture, and natural light felt romantic and European. Andreia loved its warmth and elegance—it was the perfect backdrop for their celebration.
