Maria and Ronalds engagement session was such a DREAM! I am missing these summer evenings so much right now… We started their session off at Divine Park which is just a few blocks away from Spring Lake Beach. I just love how glowy the sunset was this night.

Maria and Ronald had met at a happy hour event in NYC for work. They exchanged numbers that night and from then on have been inseparable.

In April of 2023, Ronald had organized a wonderful trip for both him and Maria to his home country of Peru. The highlight of the trip was meant to be a special day trip to the historical site of Machu Picchu. Despite it being Maria’s first time in Peru, she unfortunately fell ill from food poisoning and the altitude, resulting in her having to spend the first night in a medical center. Thankfully, she felt better the following day and decided to still go ahead with their plans to visit Machu Picchu. Upon reaching the top, Ronald had hired a private tour guide who casually asked them to pose for a picture. Little did Maria know, the tour guide was actually capturing the moment when Ronald got down on one knee and proposed, creating a special and unforgettable memory for the both of them.

Maria and Ronald are getting married next July at one of my favorite venues The Mill in Spring Lake. I am so excited to capture this beautiful day for them!
