Love Story

Megan and John’s love story started in the summer of 2020 when they met through mutual friends in Manasquan. Their first date took an unexpected turn when Salty Whale’s kitchen was closed, leading them to Pig and Parrot, where they talked the night away. Since then, they’ve been inseparable. Returning to Manasquan for their engagement session brought back cherished memories and excitement for their future together.

Proposal

“He had told me that we had his aunts 50th birthday brunch at the proving ground that day. That morning he wanted to go take our dog Cooper for a walk in Atlantic highlands where we usually go. I was so tired and didn’t want to go originally but ended up going. When we got there he parked over by the beach instead of our normal walking spot. He said that he wanted to let Cooper run on the beach. When we got on the beach I started walking to the left and then he stopped me and said no let’s go this way. At this point I knew something was up. I turned the corner and saw a whole picnic blanket with all candles, flowers and pictures of us. I was shocked! All of our family was in their cars watching. After he said we didn’t have his aunts birthday but it was going to be a lunch with all our family l. When we got to the Ocean House he surprised me with all of our close friends and family. It was truly an amazing day!”
